So, my co-worker ordered Cathe's Cathe Friedrich's Basic Step + Body Fusion DVD and is letting me borrow it today and tomorrow! I'm so pumped. Apparently, this lady is the QUEEN of step, and her moves kick the Firm's ass, so I'm all excited. There's apparently also some rivalry between the The Firm and Cathe, with the ultimate consensus that Cathe is better for advanced exercisers (as that's to whom she caters) and the Firm is better for cardio/weight training together. I'm glad my co-worker ordered the basic step dvd, as I want to slowly move into her dvds. I just wish they weren't so expensive! If you think I'm kidding about how hard her dvds are, go to her website and watch some of the previews of the dvds! Oh my gosh! I'm going to die. But, not now, as I'm starting with her basic dvd. We'll see... Last night I went to cardio with a friend. Something really weird is happening. Two weeks ago, in the same class, I burned 519 calories. One week ago, I burned 499 calories in the same class, with the same instructor. Last night, I only burned 472 calories. I'm pushing myself hard during the class. Does this mean I'm getting in better shape? I don't know. It's weird though. It's like, I can't push myself any harder, and my heart rate just doesn't seem to be getting as high as it was 2 weeks ago. Weird...
